Game Course

During the game course, players must explore their world and strategically found new cities. There are independent neutral and hostile cities that can be conquered and added to your empire as well.

Within each city's territory, you must choose which buildings to build and where to locate them. Other types of buildings allow you to produce armies or provide those troops with special abilities in order to power up their abilities in combat. Still other buildings get built on unique types of terrain which can be located cross every map. Building the right type of building on the right type of terrain can give you a powerful edge.

Finding leaders is a key to success. Sometimes a leader will appear as the result of a battle. At other times they will appear at your capital and offer to join your armies for a hefty chunk of gold. Powerful in their own right, giving them with magical weapons and armor, then keeping them alive through numerous battles gives them incredible value against both computer-controlled forces and other human players.

You build your armies out of both normal forces (like humans and gnomes) and magical beings like ghosts and minotaurs, each with its own unique pros and cons. One thing all your units have in common is the ability to improve their statistics as they become more experienced. Some units even earn potent combat spells as well. With all the possibilities, you will need to develop sound approaches to employing your units and taking advantage of their unique attributes to win battles against the toughest foes.

In Warlock YOU are the ultimate spellcaster. As the Great Mage leading your empire, you can deploy dozens of arcane spells of all sorts. You will gain the ability to:

* Heal or harm units anywhere on the map
